When Dorchelle Spence was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer she wasn’t ready. A career woman with a teenage daughter, husband managing a bustling law practice, three stepsons, and a chronically ill mother, she needed the world to stop and give her a minute to breathe. It didn’t. Instead, it sent her on a journey into the battlefield. To win, Dorchelle had to dig deeper than ever before to build a new type of foxhole.
